Ardour 3 aiuto non apre più il progetto

Ciao ragazzi ho una bella rogna e devo risolverla anche velocemente, ho un progetto su Ardour 3 che stamattina ha deciso di non aprirsi.
Ieri sera tutto ok e ho anche registrato un po ' di cose .. aggiunti plugin calf .. e funzionava tutto .. stamattina sembra che si avvii e poi sparisce tutto .. probabile qualche plugin che dia fastidio .. come posso fare .. se devo rifare tutto è un macello.

allego file xml .. non ci capisco granchè ma magari qualcuno di voi mi può aiutare ..

se devo rifare tutto la corista mi ammazza ....

che nervi ... un lavoro che và a pallini ... e mi serve tutto a posto perchè lunedì devo proseguire e il prossimo venerdì il tutto deve essere ultimato

Quello che mi spaventa di Ardour (tutte le versioni compreso pure mixbus) è l'inaffidabilità .. questa cosa random mi è successa su più macchine ...

Io dall'xml non ci capisco granché, prova a lanciare Ardour da terminale, apri il progetto e poi dopo che crasha posta qui tutto quello che sta sul termianale: probabilmente almeno io non potrò aiutarti moltissimo neanche in quel senso ma magari qualcuno può darti una mano più facilmente che con l'xml.

A parte questo, una soluzione brutale (brutalissima, ma l'unica che ti salverebbe nel caso in cui il progetto è definitivamente compromesso) è prendere i singoli file audio e ricostruire la sessione partendo da quelli: perdi tutto l'editing e il mixing fatto, e la cosa ti farà perdere più di qualche ora di sonno, ma almeno non dovrai ri-registrare.

Avvia Ardour da terminale. Da Ardour apri il progetto. Posta tutti i messaggi del terminale dall'avvio fino al "segmentation fault" (... scommettiamo che è un segmentation fault?!).

Leggendo sul forum di ardour, sembrerebbe un problema causato principalmente dai plugin calf.
Per fare una prova e verificare il problema, apri il file xml della sessione e nelle righe relative ai plugin calf (a ma pare siano 9, ma controlla bene) modifica le voci active="yes" con active="no".
Per esempio, nella voce relativa a un Calf Reverb, trovi questa riga:

Codice:: <Processor id="62504" name="Calf Reverb" active="yes" user-latency="0" type="lv2" unique-id="http://calf.sourceforge.net/plugins/Reverb" count="1">

devi modificare il parametro 'active', così:

Ovviamente fatti un salvataggio di tutta la cartella e del file xml prima di fare queste modifiche! Poi riapri la sessione (sempre da terminale) e verifica se va nuovamente in crash e se va in crash con lo stesso errore e nello stesso modo.

Se questo fosse il problema, un modo per risolverlo sarebbe quello di usare KXStudio, in cui i plugin Calf non sembrano causare questo problema.

Mentre tu fai tutte queste modifiche e queste prove, noi risolviamo la "questione corista" sollaz

ah ah vedo che la corista ha riscosso successo!!

nel frattempo mi è venuta una lombo scialtagia potente e ho rimandato la registrazione di questa sera .. appena riesco provo a modificare il file xlm .. un dubbio che fosse qualcosa legato a Calf ce l'ho avuto ma non sapevo come fare per bypassare .. perchè il problema è saltato fuori proprio dopo che ho inserito i calf nei bus.

Se me lo riapre dopo la modifica al file xml sono felice e poi vedrò come fare per il mixing ... stasera provo e vi faccio sapere

recuperare i files e metterli su un nuovo progetto ci sarebbe da impazzire .. sono tutti spezzettati .. un lavoro assurdo

ho provato anche con la live di KX studio avevo già la versione 12.04-64 bit masterizzata .. e non si riesce a fare nulla il progetto lo apre ma in modalità di sola lettura per cui non posso disabilitare i plugin Calf e salvare ne tantomeno esportare le tracce

Ho provato anche ad aprirlo con Ardour 4 non usando jack .. ma tenta l'avvio poi sparisce tutto

... mi viene da piangere ... e mi sembra già di sentire il tastierista che usa Mac e che mi stressa i maroni ogni volta che lui è al top .. che mi dice .. te l'ho detto passa a Mac ...

Ma se KXStudio te lo apre (e di questo non avevo dubbi...) , perchè non "salvi con nome" su una chiavetta, e lo riapri da lì per rasare Calf, sempre con KXStudio?
In ogni caso puoi usare le maniere forti con un "sudo chmod 777 -R" sotto la directory del progetto...

allora il problema deve essere nei permessi il fatto che non mi permette di salvare su Ardour o esportare .. le maniere forti sembrano non funzionare perchè da terminale mi dice no such file o directory ... che manchi qualche mount alla live? ... non credo perchè il secondo disco e i file li vede tutti da dolphin .... bohhhhh

No, se parto con una LIVE la "home", a meno che non la smonto e rimonto ad hoc, resta in ram.
Il problema è che di default i dischi vengono montati come "ro" quindi non ci posso riscrivere i permessi se non eseguo lo smontaggio e il rimontaggio a mano (o modifcando fstab ecc...).

Consiglio nuovamente di copiare la cartella del progetto in una memoria esterna USB, sulla quale poi fare le modifiche (rasare Calf), salvare e ricopiare nel sistema originale.

Stando questi due punti fermi:

1) la questione 'corista' andrebbe analizzata più approfonditamente per poter avere un'idea più chiara del tutto;
2) il consiglio dato da touch è buono ed è una buona soluzione;

ti faccio comunque notare che l'xml che hai postato nel primo messaggio ce li ha i plugin calf, come ti dicevo mi pare siano 9 in tutti.
Prova ad aprirlo con gedit (o qualsiasi altro editor preferisci usare) e modificali come ti ho indicato, salva e riapri la sessione e vedi come va.

ok stasera provo a salvare su chiavetta il progetto e provo con KX studio a piallare i calf e salvare .. se funziona almeno il progetto è salvo ...
